W. M. KECK OBSERVATORY

The W. M. Keck Observatory operates the world’s two largest optical/infrared telescopes located on the summit of Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Observatory seeks a Night Attendant to work primarily at night on the summit of Mauna Kea.

Minimum qualifications include two years work experience in a responsible position; ability to work at high altitude (13,600 feet) on a continuous basis; flexibility to work weekends and holidays; valid driver’s license and excellent driving skills. Mechanical or electrical and safety experience is desirable.

This is a regular position with a competitive comprehensive benefits package - salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience. The position is opened until filled.
