5 TELESCOPE: Type:C11 Aperture: 280mm reducer 0.63 Magnification: 1/3 deg field Mount: EQ6 Motor drive: yes
6 TIMING & RECORDING:
Time source: Computer clock synced with time server time.nist.gov and verified against wire telephone service
adding 0.5 s to computer recorded times.
As prevoisly measured the recorded time in each frame is approx halfway in 2000ms exposure. A lag of 0.4 is between each exposure.
Sensor: QCam5 (CMOS)
Recording: 2000 ms
Time insertion (specify):
Event insertion (specify):
7 OBSERVING CONDITIONS:
Atmospheric transparency: OK but near full moon Wind: mild wind Temperature: 14 deg
Star image stability: OK but weak Minor planet visible: No
8 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
Tangra curve is supplied and shows dip in two frames by approx 40-50% and a third about 25% .
Quite weak and noisy but ligth curve shows dip in two-three 2000ms frames.
Estimating duration from three dipped frames :
frame 52 value=153 (previos level 340 approx) assuming occultation start at mid frame since mag drop is only approx 1 mag (50%)
: 21 02 7.671 + 0.5s corr = 21 02 08.2
frame 53 value=126 (previos level 340 approx) not 2 mag drop since at noise level
frame 54 value=247 (previos level 340 approx) assuming occultation ends att mid frame minus 0.5 sek since drop is approx 25%
: 21 02 12.483 + 0.5s corr - 0.5s = 21 02 12.5

EDIT : Fick ändra lite på räkningen av tiderna (bara räkna med 2 frames) efter kontakt med Euraster, Eric Frappa.

Estimate level full flux 325 (more precice mean)
2 mag drop to 325*0,16 = 52 and 325-52=273
frame 52 : 325-153=172 and 172/273 = 0,63 of full drop 0,63*2 s = 1,26 s
time : 21 02 7.671 + 0.5s corr - 0.26s = 21 02 07.9
frame 53 : 325-126=199 and 199/273 = 0,73 of full drop 0,73*2 s = 1,46 s
time : 21 02 10.077 + 0.5s corr +0.46s = 21 02 11.0
recorded time is approx midway (1s) in each frame.
